I am SO glad you are considering spending a getaway in Charleston! My name is Jennifer Watson, and I am the Owner & Senior Travel Specialist at Our Sweet Tea Life Travel. I love Charleston SO much that after vacationing here several times, we decided to relocate our family to this beautiful area. One of my favorite things that I get to do as a travel agent is to help clients plan a special trip to Charleston and the surrounding areas of the lowcountry! Spring in Charleston is glorious. It boasts mild temperatures, and the azaleas, wisteria, and jasmine are beginning to bloom, and they fill the city with fragrance. Window boxes are freshened up with bright pops of color and the Spring Tour of Homes & Gardens is in full swing.
Summer in Charleston is full of energy. Live music, summer farmers markets, long beach days, summer festivals, and plenty of opportunities to get out on the water will fill your days and create summer memories to last a lifetime.
Fall is equally as gorgeous with fall blooms abound, breathtaking lowcountry sunsets, fewer tourists, charming fall festivals and activities, Fall Tour of Homes & Gardens, and warm days followed by cool fall nights.
